Zeta 5500 Series Pen Plotters are 54-inch wide, four-pen intelligent drumplotters with a proprietary servo motor drive system. Axial speed is 35inches per second; diagonal speed is 50 inches per second, with 4gacceleration and resolution of 0.0125 mm. 5500 can be configured toaccept HP-GL, GAL, or CalComp 906/907 plot data.Simplified control panels provide easy control over all phases ofplotting. A linear actuator pen system allows variable pen pressure forindividual pens for superb line quality. Users may window or select anyportion of the plot for an enlarged view. There is also push buttonrotation, scaling x and/or y axis, and a pause feature for plotexaminations at any point.The optional Zeta Media Compensation system (MCS) consists of two sensorsand a digital display, which mount on opposite sides of the plotter drumto increase the accuracy of output. Media is measured before plottingbegins, and incoming plot data is scaled to achieve the highest possibleaccuracy. Accuracy of +/- 0.008 inches is achieved over plot lengths upto 20 feet.
